Conveyor Modifications

We offer the ever more popular design service of modifying your current flat belt conveyors to accept a modular belt. We process this from design through to the delivery stage which includes: the fitting of the belt and sprockets alongside other main modifications such as Wearstrip, Shaft / Roller alterations, new bearings / end brackets and support rollers. Giving you great benefits that include:

• Constantly True Tracking
• No Tensioning
• Easy Cleaning
• Easily repaired for less production downtime
• Plus the reduced costs of retaining the best elements of an already workable conveyor, motor, electrics etc

Problem conveying or driving?

Sometimes a fresh pair of eyes can spot something or offer assistance from knowledge of similar problems elsewhere. For example we have recently resolved a problem where a new bottle design was 'jamming' when be fed for filling using the belts that had always been used on the machine (the left picture below). We suggested switching to a foam covered belt (the right picture below) which would grip the bottle and pull it through without damage.

Belt Surveys

We offer a fully comprehensive belt survey. At your convenience we will come to your site to take full details of your Conveyor and drive belts. When completed we will supply you with an easy to understand survey to include:

• List of all lines
• Conveyor/machine references
• Belt specification
• Belt sizes and finish (vulcanised, fastener, on site fitting etc)
• Any extras (flights & guides etc)
• Fully priced
• Plus any other details you request us to include
